The STEEZ Crew was Pioneer's top of the line boombox in 2011. It has a 4GB hd, an iPod dock, USB port, and 3.5mm aux input.

Pioneer STEEZ STZ-D10Z-R

The Pioneer STEEZ D10Z was a very interesting model with a remote control and advanced music manipulation features, marketed to dance studios and aerobics instructors. It came out in 2011, during that weird era when Bluetooth hadn't taken off yet. So instead, it has an internal hard drive where you can upload 4GB worth of music from your PC and manipulate it with adjustable tempo, beat cut, battle mode, and DJ mixing. It also has an iPod dock (30-pin), a USB port, and a 3.5mm Aux input. Unfortunately, the Aux input has a noticeable delay (the Pioneer plays the music 2-3 seconds behind your auxiliary device, because the Pioneer needs to "analyze" the incoming signal before playing it).

It feels solid, with impressive build quality. There are rubber gaskets on each door, rubber feet on the bottom, and excellent paint finish. There are 5 speakers plus a passive radiator. On the front there are 8cm mids and 2.6cm tweeters. On the left end there's a 13.5cm subwoofer, and on the right there's a passive radiator of the same size. Power output is allegedly 10+10 watts for the front speakers, plus another 20 watts for the sub, for a total of 40. However, the label on the bottom says its power consumption is only 25 watts. confused But regardless, to my ears it sounds better than the JVC Kaboom or Sharp GX-M10, because it has more clarity and detail. But not as much bass.

Its dimensions are 24.9 x 9.7 x 8.7 inches. A 3.5 inch QVGA LCD screen allows you to review your music tracks and folders. It does not have a rechargeable battery, so you will need to use ten D-cell batteries, or the 18V 3.5A wall adapter.
