The Diatone JR911 Compoland was a very long (705mm) 1-piece boombox with 3-way speakers (16cm, 2.5cm, 2.5cm). It has big LED meters and a soft-touch deck with 10-program MPSS music search. The suggested price in 1981 was 99,800 Yen. Output is 2x10W by the EIAJ/DC standard. I believe it was only sold in Japan. It takes 10 D-cell batteries or 100 volts AC. The handle is very interesting, it has hinges allowing it to collapse and become flush with the surface of the boombox.
