The Sanyo M9965 came in two versions. One with black grills, and the K model with shortwave, silver grills, and a blue tuner dial. These models are closely related to the M9975, but they only have a Tone knob instead of separate bass and treble. Also, they don't have Line inputs, but they do have Mic inputs, and they work perfectly fine when you press Record/Play.
