The Sharp GF-787, nicknamed Searcher-WF, was the Japanese home-market version of the <a href="tiki-index.php?page=Sharp+GF-575" title="The GF575 was a very long, twin-deck ghettoblaster from Sharp's early 80s lineup." class="wiki wiki_page">GF-575</a>. The biggest difference, obviously, is that it's decked out in a beautiful blue and white palette. Another difference is that it has 6 sliders instead of 5 (I don't know what the additional one is for). And finally, it has some adjustable pointer tabs behind the removable tuner glass. These allow you to mark your favorite stations. I don't think I've seen that feature on another boombox!
