This 990 is the best of the "TPR" series ghettoblasters. It is feature-packed and heavy. It has Dolby, metal tape compatibility, soft-touch controls, and a BTL amp that puts out 6 watts per channel (FTC) into 8 ohms from 60Hz to 10KHz with no more than 10% THD. Cassette frequency response is 45Hz to 18KHz (+/- 3dB) when using metal tape.
