Silver ST-868
This boombox is an AKA of the Montgomery Ward GEN-3996A and the Silver ST-858. However it has black speaker grills and a more advanced music search function. These boxes aren't as loud as a JVC M70, but the frequency range is nice and broad, and the bass is deeper than average. And the Wide setting is very nice. The VU meters are very cool, but they won't flash with the tuner or Aux unless you insert a blank tape and press the Rec key. Fortunately you don't need to press Rec + Play.
