Sanyo M9935
The M9935 (also called M9935K and M9935LU in some countries), was a very big seller for Sanyo. It was manufactured in the early 1980's, and while it was a rather basic, entry-level model, it was still a very popular boombox, judging by the fact that on any given week you can find several of them on Ebay. It measures 20" wide, 11-1/16" tall, and 4-78" deep. It has 16cm woofers, piezo horn tweeters, AMSS song search, an LED power output meter, and a cool-looking decorative "vent" below the tape deck. It doesn't have an Aux/Line In function or connections.... just Mic connections. According to the service manual, its output power is 9W "music power" or 12W "PMPO", but those types of measurements are very suspect. An FTC measurement would have been more accurate, but Sanyo never provided that, unlike Sharp and Pioneer.
