Quasar GX-3661
This GX-3661 was Quasar's version of the National/Panasonic RX-5650. Quasar was a sub-brand of Panasonic that still exists today. It was intended to be a "value brand", sold in value-oriented supermarkets and drug stores. But this boombox was full-featured, with a soft-touch Dolby tape deck capable of producing a frequency response of 40 to 17,000 Hz when using Metal tape. It also has classic analog VU meters, and a full assortment of input and output jacks. Output is 2x5 watts according to the Japanese EIAJ/DC standard. It has 16cm woofers and 5cm tweeters.
