Philips 70CD555

The 70CD555 was a nice-looking ghettoblaster from Belgium. It has both a CD player and a cassette deck. It is built better than most Philips models. Its detachable 2-way speakers are made of pressed wood, and they have real cone tweeters instead of the cheap piezo tweeters found in most Philips. However, the cassette deck contains a plastic gear that often breaks, and will need replacement. Some people have created 3D-printed replacements.
