Marantz CRS-8000
The CRS-8000 was the top-of-the-line boombox from Marantz. It is very similar to the CRS-7800, CRS-7810, and PMS-7000, except that it has a second tape deck called "Mech II." This allowed owners to make copies of tapes for their friends. Due to the space required by that second deck, it is missing the protective metal bar under the tape keys that can be found on the other models.
Some CRS-8000 models have 76-90 MHz tuners because they were intended for the Japanese market. But others have full FM tuners that go to 108 MHz.
