Goldstar TSR-800 and 801

The Goldstar TSR-801 is a fairly large ghettoblaster that was manufactured in Korea in the year 1983. It has a nice silver metallic front face, with large 20cm woofers covered by black grills. It measures 627 x 358 x 145 mm. Power output, according to the service manual page shown below, is 2x6.2 watts at 10% THD. The complete service manual can be purchased HERE.

The TSR-801 was intended for sale in North America, and therefore it is rated for 120 volts. There is another version called the TSR-800 that was sold in Europe. It is identical except that it is 220 volts. There are also some re-branded versions (or AKA's) of this boombox, including the Unitech CX-1430 and the Prosonic PQR-9962.
