The GPO Brooklyn Boombox was introduced in 2017, and offers a wider variety of audio sources than any other speaker on the market.

GPO Brooklyn

The GPO Brooklyn was introduced in 2017. It was made in China and imported into England by ProTelX Ltd. It's available in silver or black. It's styled to look like an old 1980's boombox, specifically the Lasonic TRC-920. It certainly has lots of audio input choices, including a cassette deck, a top-mounted CD slot, DAB and FM tuners (complete with dual antennas and a real tuner needle), a USB player, Aux input jacks, microphone inputs, and Bluetooth.

Output is allegedly 2x40 watts. The speakers were made by "Sunwin". The woofers are 5" cellulose cones with rubber surrounds and 3.6 Ohms impedence. Thier metal frames are 6" diameter. The tweeters are 2" cellulose cones with a 2.25" metal frame diameter. The removeable lithium battery is rated for 11.1 volts and 2,700 mAh. The AC power adapter provides 15 volts and 4.0 amps.

Owners say that its sound quality is OK, but there is some buzzing/rattling noise when playing heavy bass tracks, caused by vibration of the CD player mechanism.
