Immediately behind the TRC-931 in terms of popularity was the TRC-975 "Jumbo". Equally as flashy and attractive, but much bigger and wider to accommodate the dual side-by-side tape decks. Additionally, it has buttons to select the functions and bands, instead of the knobs on the TRC-931 which are very prone to failure due to a plastic gear inside that breaks. It also has an LBS button to boost the bass. It's almost 29" long, and just over 14" tall. It has 8" woofers and 2" tweeters, and according to Lasonic its output is 20W per channel RMS into 4 ohms. Care should be taken when shipping this model, because the transformer is not mounted very securely. Sometimes it breaks loose, as you can see in photograph #3.
