This was a 3-piece boombox from the mid 1980's. Its claim to fame was an optional CD player (PD-C7S) that could be inserted into the top slot. But honestly, its construction and build quality seem rather basic compared to the Pioneers of just 3-4 years earlier. According to the owners manual, output power is 2x15W at 10% distortion, although it's doubtful that such lightweight plastic speakers could tolerate that much power. Tape deck frequency response is quoted at 40 to 16,000 Hz when using Metal tape, and the wow and flutter rating is 0.06% WRMS.
