The EXOS-10 came out in August 2024, and is a replacement for the Aiwa EXOS-9. One major difference is the driver setup. While they both have 6.5" dual-coil subwoofers, the similarities end there. The EXOS-9 has a total of 5 active drivers, including midrangers and tweeters. The EXOS-10 gets by with only 3 active drivers. Another difference is that the EXOS-9 has a rear bass port, while the EXOS-10 has 4 passive radiators (2 on the front and 2 on the back).

Both models claim to produce an output power of 200 watts, but we all know that's BS, given that the FCC teardown of the EXOS-9 revealed that the drivers were rated for only 20W for the sub, 20W each for the midranges, and 10W each for the tweeters.

Another difference between the EXOS-9 and EXOS-10 is that the former has a removable battery, while the latter doesn't. Also, the former has Bluetooth 4.2, while the latter has Bluetooth 5.0.

I'm not going to provide dimensions, because I've found different numbers on different sites, and I don't know which ones are correct. But the EXOS-10 certainly "looks" better, with dual VU meters and silver rings around the speakers. As for sound quality? You'll have to wait for the YouTube reviews, I guess.
