Nicknamed the bolt box because of the lightning bolts on its grills

Kasuga KC-2602

This Kasuga KC-2602 is a version of the iconic Bolt Box, nicknamed because of the lightning bolts on the speakers. The first photo shows one with the lightning bolts intact, and the other photos show one that someone cut the bolts out for some reason. There were many different versions of this radio, with many different names. I'm not sure who was the original manufacturer, or which model was the first. But here is a list of them. Some have a different combination of features, like burglar alarms, slots for shoulder straps, LED VU meters, graphic equalizer instead of bass and treble, separate/combined L/R volume knobs, side inputs, single or dual antennas, etc.
