Toshiba RT-8900
This boombox is from 1980, and it was also called BomBeat 12. It's got loads of metal trim, beautiful speakers, reflective trim around the music search buttons, and a cool blue "Editor" switch. The LED meter can be changed from a tuning and battery strength meter to a VU meter that dances to the beat. The bass and treble knobs are unusual, because they only sweep 120 degrees instead of the traditional 300 degrees. The music search has 6 buttons: Tracks 1-5, and a +5 button. This allows you to select 10 tracks.
