The Sharp GF-9797 is a mid-size ghettoblaster from 1981 with a digital tuner. Output is 2x7W Sinus (RMS).

Sharp GF-9797

The GF-9797 is a champagne-colored boombox with a digital tuner. It was introduced in 1981. It has 16cm woofers and 3cm tweeters. Output power is 2x7 watts Sinus (RMS). Most collectors say it sounds nice, but that it's a bit shy on bass. It appears to have been developed side-by-side with the GE 3-5295A, because the control layouts and rear panels are exactly the same. But the GE has 3-track song search, while the Sharp only has standard song search.
