Fisher PH-470

The Fisher PH-470 is an AKA of the Sanyo MR-P6. It was very advanced for its time. It has a digital tuner with buttons for Auto Search and 6 station presets. You can also use the tuning knob on the side of the boombox. The tape deck has music search, with 7 selector buttons above the tape door. It has a beautiful metal plate inside the deck, and on the door too.

It is a 15-volt boombox, powered by a Sanyo LA4125T amplifier. It's a strong sounder, with nice bass and a good Wide setting. It's in the same league as the Sanyo M9994. It is 53cm wide and weighs 7.4 kg (not including batteries).

The photograph below shows it with a pair of Sanyo microphones, which fit into slots on the side.
