Emerson
Emerson is a well known brand that produced everything from electric shavers to microwave ovens and clock radios. They seem to be largely ignored by collectors, which is probably OK since they seem to be fairly uncommon in the marketplace. It appears they primarily produced low-end models sold to the consumer masses, and not the type of equipment you would expect to find in dedicated stereo stores. Today, most electronic goods are sold in larger stores such as Best Buy, Walmart, etc, and Emerson is exactly the type of product you would expect to find there.
