This was in my opinion the best-looking "mini" boombox from Sanyo, the M7880 (also called the MR-V8 MKII in Japan). With its combination of midnight blue, pearl white, and maroon accents, it's quite the beauty. And it sounds terrific too. At 18.25" long and 6.25" tall, it's a bit larger than most "mini" boomboxes, and it makes use of that size to hold more batteries (7 C-cells instead of the typical 4 or 6). I really like the long row of 8 tape keys, including Rec Mute and an Eject key that is separate from Stop. The keys are positioned at an angle that makes them very easy to use.
