Contributions to Qualimax MX-9 discolite (current version)

WOW. This is a big black monster, with 8 speakers and tons of disco lights. Technically it's a 4-piece model, because not only do the left and right speakers detach, but there is another detachable component on the bottom with "Super Double Woofers". This piece has its own power switch and volume controls to control those woofers (which have foam surrounds, unlike the other woofers in the main unit). It also has compartments to carry extra tapes.

It measures 30 1/2" wide, 15 1/2" in height, and 6 3/4" in depth. It can run on either 110 or 220 volts, or ten D-cell batteries.

Most of the controls are located behind a clear "door" on the front, as shown in the photos below:
