The Panasonic RX5250 shares the same body shell as the RX5150. The biggest difference is the dual LED meter. Everything else is very similar, including the Ambience setting, which is one of the best "wide" stereo modes ever produced.

The European version was called the 5250L or LS. It has 4 radio bands and a tuner light. The North American 5250 does not.

It weighs 13.5 lbs without batteries, and produces 7.5 watts per channel according to the service manual.
