This Crown is an iconic, legendary ghettoblaster. Its styling is plain and beautiful at the same time, with its huge knobs, big meters, 8" deep-dish woofers, and thick chrome rings. Its metal strap loops are its most unique attribute. They are thick and sturdy. They are bolted inside the case to a metal bar for support. Alas, the plastic case itself is not as strong. One strong impact to the metal loop can crack the plastic around it. eek

Be aware, there are two different versions of this model. One is called the CSC-850F, and the other is called the CSC-850L. The L means luxury, ha ha. It has more features than the F. It has real metal knobs. Here is a knob from the F on the left, and the L on the right.

The metal knobs are SO much nicer. They have a texture that makes them easy to grip.

Another difference is that the L model has AFC and a tape type switch. The F model does not.
