Review of this iconic ghettoblaster from the late 80's. It's a re-branded Promax J1.

Tecsonic Super Jumbo J-1

The Tecsonic J1 came out in the late 80s, I believe. It's huge, with lots of flashing lights, which ensures that this beast attracts attention wherever it goes. It's a re-branded version of the Promax J1 Super Jumbo used in the movie "Do the Right Thing." The main difference is that two of the six speakers inside the Tecsonic are cheap piezo tweeters (like the ones inside a talking greeting card), while all six in the Promax are traditional cone speakers.
