This boombox was part of the so-called "SR2100" series. But if you Google search Sears SR2100, many other boomboxes will appear. That's because SR2100 is not the real model number. The real model number is printed on the back (304.21980250, of which the underlined 2198 is the actual model number). Regardless, this model is a 3-piece boombox measuring 24.5 inches long, 9 inches tall, and 8 inches deep. It appeared in the 1983 fall/winter Sears catalogue. It has a nice LED meter with green and red segments, and a lighted tuner needle. It also has both Phono and Aux inputs. We believe it was made by Funai Electric Co in Japan. There was an AKA called the Realistic Modulaire 1000 14-773.
