Magnavox 506 Power Player
The Magnavox 90AR506 (or simply "506" for short) was a stereo boombox made in Singapore in the year 1980. It is nearly identical to the Philips 508 (90AR508). It measures 16 inches wide, 9 inches tall. It has some rather attractive brushed aluminum trim plates on the front, and for the tuner dial as well. Inside, the speakers are 4-inch, 4 ohm units made by Foster. The amplifier consists of two Hitachi TBA810SH chips, the same ones used by the Sharp GF-9191 (but that model is 15 volts, so it will make more power than this 9 volt Magnavox will).
