GPO Manhattan
This portable bluetooth speaker/boombox was introduced in 2021 by the British firm GPO. It's almost exactly the same size as the GPO Brooklyn from 2017. But unlike the Brooklyn, it doesn't have a cassette deck, CD player, or AM/FM tuner. It only has Bluetooth, USB, line input, and 2 mic inputs with optional sound effects. In exchange for this cutback in features, it costs about 50% less than the Brooklyn. But it still sounds just as good, or even better. Unlike the Brooklyn, the Manhattan has an internal wooden speaker chamber, and as you know, wood sounds better than plastic. To me, it seems to have deeper bass than the Brooklyn. GPO also claims it makes more power (2x50W instead of 2x40W). I don't know if that's really true, but I wouldn't be surprised, because its power adapter supplies 18V instead of 15V.
