Aiwa CA-70
The CA-70 is a 3-piece boombox from Aiwa that sold for $370 in 1983. It boasts a hidden passive radiator called "Acoustic 3D". It is hidden underneath the tape deck, and it is powered by air coming from ports on the sides of the detachable speakers, where they mate with the central unit. Therefore it only works when the speakers are attached to the central unit. Please be aware that this passive radiator has a foam surround, and therefore must be re-foamed to perform like new.
The tape deck is soft-touch and is equipped with Dolby. Wow & flutter is below 0.045%. Dimensions are 630 x 227 x 195mm. The woofers are 10cm and the tweeters are 5cm.
