Toshiba RT-8890S BomBeat 16

The RT-8890S (also called the Bombeat 16) was a very cool-looking Toshiba from 1980. It has 6 speakers (16cm woofers, 5cm tweeters, and another pair of 4cm tweeters). So obviously there's plenty of treble, and it has a "Space Wide" setting that makes techno and other electronic music sound great. It doesn't have much bass though.

It has 5 watts per channel according to the Japanese EIAJ/DC industry measuring standard. It takes nine D-cell batteries, and it can accept both 110-120 and 220-240 volts AC. It weighs 6.2 KG without batteries.
