<a class="wiki" href="Sony" rel="">Sony</a> had a tendency to "go their own way" and produce very unique designs. The CFS-F5 is no exception. The controls are placed in an unusual location. And the LED meters are long and mesmerizing. Alas, like most of Sony's early boomboxes, it didn't have much bass. But it's worth it for the style alone.

Shown here is the CFS-F5S model. I believe the "S" indicates extra bands on the tuner.
