The <a class="wiki" href="Philips" rel="">Philips</a> D8554 is a hot-looking 3-piece boombox, most likely produced in the mid-80's when designers started adding brighter colors to their products. The blue, orange, and chrome accents on this model are very nice!

It has a total of 7 speakers. 2 of them are pizeo tweeters, located behind the chrome pods at the top of each speaker. The big central woofer looks cool, but doesn't produce as much bass as you might hope. The good news is, the highs are pretty good.
