The <a class="wiki" href="Panasonic" rel="">Panasonic</a> RF973 is a very small boombox. It only takes four C-cells. But it has some interesting features, including a "Stereo Spacer" knob which allows you to adjust the stereo effect. It also has a batwing shape that was intended to point the speakers away from each other to some degree. And there are some vents on each side that presumably help direct a bit of sound in that direction, but they're really just for looks.
