A very unique boombox from 1982 with two cassette players (one removeable).

Hitachi TRK-W1

The TRK-W1 was a very odd-looking boombox from 1982. It's a 12 volt model (8 D-cell batteries) with 12cm woofers and 3cm tweeters. It has two cassette decks, one of which is removeable like a Walkman. The Perdisco versions sold in Japan had an extra feature: DRPS (Digital Random Program Selector) which allows you to select the specific track you want to play.

Model variatons: TRK-W1AU, TRK-W1E, TRK-W1H, TRK-W1HC, TRK-W1W
