The MX-MD70 was a compact component stereo system from JVC from the late 90s I believe. It features a single minidisc player/recorder with sampling rate converter and optical digital input. It also has a 3-CD changer with program play and random play. It also has Active Bass Extension and 3-mode Live Surround. The included SP-MD70 speakers are 3-way units rated for 50 watts and 6 ohms, and include "Dual Cannon Duct" bass ports and "Super Sonic Diffuser" tweeters. According to the service manual, its CA-MD70 amplifier provides 35 watts per channel, minimum RMS, both channels driven, into 6 ohms at 1 kHz with no more than 0.9% total harmonic distortion.
