The Party Center 1000 shared the same "shell" as the 2000, but the componentry was not as high quality. Instead of a nice 3-motor logic deck, it had a rather basic mechanical deck. On the positive side, the tuner knob is flywheel-weighted, and the dial is one of the most beautiful of any boombox, with an acrylic numeral plate that carries the light all the way across the dial.
