We don't review many mini systems (the ones we did are listed HERE), but I wanted to speak my mind about this Denon M39. It's a night-and-day difference from most mini systems, due to its simplicity and conservative looks. No disco lights, bass tubes, or silly EQ settings. It's very small, checking in at only 21cm wide and 11cm tall. It makes 2x30 watts into 6 ohms at 1kHz and 10% distortion. That might not sound like much, but you need to understand that most companies totally fabricate their numbers.

This system has CD, USB, FM, AUX, and optical input. It doesn't have Bluetooth (the M41 has that). The USB only reads MP3 and WMA, it won't read any other file extensions.

The speakers are 2-ways with Sure they're decent quality, but the treble is too soft for my taste. Also, at only 83 they're just not sensitive enough.
