A big and colorful (but low quality) ghettoblaster with flashing lights.

TEC 878RR Super Jumbo

The TEC 878RR was a fairly common ghettoblaster in Europe. It's very similar to the ICS STR-5099A, the Willtech MG-930E, and the Silver RG-6000W. It's big, but it's very empty inside. It doesn't have many features. No music search, no Dolby, no Loudness, no Stereo Wide, no Autoreverse, no recording level adjusters...........just volume, balance, dubbing, aux input, and a 5-band EQ with 10 sliders, trying to look like a 10-band EQ. But if TEC wanted people to think it was a 10-band EQ, why did they add a label saying "5-band Graphic Equalizer"? Strange. confused

Still, this boombox is popular with collectors because of its flashing lights, colorful labels, shiny chrome, and "Super Woofer" badges on the grills.
