This GF-909, nickaned Searcher-W 909, was a special black version of the GF-777.

Sharp GF-909

The Sharp GF909 was a black version of the Sharp GF-777. It has the same outer shell, but the area around the speakers is black instead of silver, and the dustcaps are black too. It was intended for the Japanese domestic market, so it has Japanese labeling and is rated for 100 volts only. Fortunately, the FM tuner goes all the way to 108 MHz. Sharp's Japanese catalog claims that it produces a total of 24 watts according to the EIAJ/DC industry standard (2x6W for the super woofers, and another 2x6W for the other speakers). It measures 752 x 379 x 166 mm and was priced at 118,000 Yen in the 1981 Sharp catalog.

NOTE: There is another version of this box called the Toyota Aisin Seiki EA900. I don't know how or why Toyota became involved with Sharp.
