Marantz 53 series (MS-53, CH-53, CP-53, etc.)

From the year 1980 or 1981 comes what must be the smallest stereo component system ever built! The Marantz 53 Series Micro Stereo System, which consists of the following components: Amplifier SC-53, tuner ST-53, cassette deck CP-53, and 9-band graphic equalizer EQ-53. Each of those components is only 140mm wide, 30mm tall, and 94mm deep. The speakers (model # LS-53) have internal 5 watt amplifiers and measure 120mm wide, 90mm tall, and 94mm deep. The power adapter (model # DA-30) has a rated output of 13.5 volts DC and 1.1 amps. And finally there is a rabbit ear antenna (model # ANT-5).

All of these components fit into a gold aluminum flight case, which is very rare and difficult to find. This case has a battery compartment, making this the ultimate portable ghettoblaster for the business executive!!
