This is the 3rd gen TRC931 with a much more rounded appearance. It puts out some serious bass!

Lasonic TRC-931 third generation

This is the third generation of the TRC-931. I believe it's from 1992, but I might be wrong. Unlike the sharp-cornered, boxy shape of the previous two generations, this one has a very rounded body. It's also flat black instead of gloss black. Inside, the woofers are marked "Dyna Lucky 4Ω 16-35W" and the tweeters are marked "Lucky 4Ω 16-20W". This generation has GREAT bass. Definitely more bass than the 2nd generation. But the 2nd generation has stronger high notes.

If you experience the sound cutting out, or weak bass, check the graphic equalizer. This model, like many Lasonics, often suffers from weak contacts in the equalizer sliders. So you might need to take it apart and apply some DeoxIT Fader Lube to those sliders.
