The CFS-500 was a midsize boombox from Sony. It has 16cm woofers with 3cm tweeters suspended in front of them. It's a good-looking model, but honestly there aren't many features, other than a 3-band (LOL) graphic equalizer, and a small LED meter above the tape door. It doesn't have Line Input, just Mic Input.

It takes 8 D-cell batteries. Its output power, according to the service manual, is 2x2.5 watts minimum from 150 to 10,000 Hz, both channels driven, at 3.2 ohms and no more than 10% total harmonic distortion. But that's based on the old FTC standard, which was very conservative. Most other manufacturers would have used a more liberal standard, allowing them to claim 2-3 times as much power.
