During the 1960's, 70's, and 80's, TEAC was well-known for their high-quality tape decks and reel to reel players. Later they diversified into many other product categories, including amplifiers, data storage, and even in-flight entertainment. They did not produce many portable stereos, but here is a list of the ones they did:
