Saba RCR-426
The Transeuropa RCR426 was a ghettoblaster from the German company Saba. It was introduced in 1981. It is a re-branded version of the Fisher PH250, so it was undoubtedly built by Sanyo. It measures 515mm wide, 303mm tall, and 166mm deep. It has a soft-touch logic deck with 3-track music search. There is a left/right LED meter which indicates input levels when recording, and output levels when not. Auxiliary input with MP3 players is possible via the DIN port, but the tape deck must be engaged. Inside, it has 16cm pulp cone woofers and 4cm pulp cone tweeters. The amplifier chip is a Rohm BA536, the same one used by the Sharp GF-8989.
