The PH-W5000 was sold in the year 1990. It's a 3-piece boombox with some nice-looking gold trim on the speakers and the legs. It has 2 tape decks, a digital tuner, and Aux inputs. The volume knob has a red indicator light, as if to imply it's motor driven, but I don't think it is, because I've never seen a remote control for this model. According to the service manual, this model's output power is 2x5.5W max, which might not sound like much, but Fisher was being honest, unlike most of its competitors. This model actually sounds pretty good.
