Introduced in 2012, the A73 represents TDK's second generation of boomboxes, now with Bluetooth and remote control.

TDK Wireless Boombox A73

The A73 "Life on Record" wireless boombox was introduced in late 2012 for $399. It belongs to TDK's second generation of boomboxes. Unlike the first generation, this one has Bluetooth, a rechargeable battery, and a remote control. It is also matte black instead of piano black. On the front, it has two very small (2") full-range drivers and two 5.25" passive radiators. On the back, there's a 5.25" active subwoofer. The output power is 2x7W for the front speakers plus 15W for the rear subwoofer. If true, that's more power than the old 2 Speaker Boombox, but not as much as the 3 Speaker Boombox.

The Bluetooth is the older version 2.1 + EDR, operating on the A2DP profile and the AAC codec. Some reviews have reported problems connecting it to newer phones with more recent bluetooth versions, saying the bluetooth sometimes cuts out between songs.
