The A73 wireless boombox was introduced in 2012, and represents TDK's second generation of boomboxes. Unlike the first generation, this one has Bluetooth, a rechargeable battery, and a remote control. But collectors I've spoken to say it doesn't sound as good as the first generation. Partly because the speakers are smaller. On the front, it has two very small (5cm) full-range drivers, and two 13cm passive radiators. And there's a 13cm active subwoofer on the back. The output power is 2x7W for the front speakers plus 15W for the rear subwoofer. If true, that's more power than the old 2 Speaker Boombox, but not as much as the 3 Speaker Boombox.
The Bluetooth is Ver. 2.1 + EDR Class2, A2DP, AAC support AVRCP.
