A vintage 80s disco boombox from China.

MXC Crown CS-2525

This discolite boombox is a beast at 28 inches long, and it's loaded with lots of lights and a rotating disco ball that can be removed and stored in a compartment in the rear panel. It was made in China, so we don't think it has any connection to Crown Radio Company of Japan. Rather, we suspect it was manufactured by the same Chinese conglomerate that made the Mega 4000 and the Berecha DL-26. Interestingly, there are a few other model names printed on it, including XC-151, E119419, and Disco On The Go. And on the side it says HBSS (Hyper Bass Speaker System, lol). It has 4 speakers on the front, but some people have said there's an additional bass speaker mounted on the back side.
