The GPO Brooklyn Boombox was introduced in 2017, and offers a wider variety of audio sources than any other speaker on the market.

GPO Brooklyn

The GPO Brooklyn was introduced in 2017. It was made in China and imported into England by ProTelX Ltd. It is available in silver or black. It's styled to look like an old 1980's boombox, specifically the Lasonic TRC-920. It certainly has lots of audio input choices, including a cassette deck, a top-mounted CD slot, DAB and FM tuners (complete with dual antennas and a real tuner needle), a USB player, Aux input jacks, microphone inputs, and Bluetooth. It is powered by a removeable lithium battery. Be aware, the battery will drain overnight if you leave the LED output meters on. These meters constantly respond to ambient sound, so they're always on even if the main power switch is off. So, if you're not using the boombox, turn the Output Level switch off.

Owners say that its sound quality is OK, but that it needs more bass to justify its price, considering that you can get an Aiwa EXOS-9 for only $50 more.
