Audiologic SCR-3281

This Audiologic is an AKA of the Maximal 2082. It is 52cm wide (including tuning knob), 28cm tall (handle down), and 12.5cm deep. It has two cassette decks. The lower deck is made to look like a traditional deck, but it's actually a horizontal "slot" deck that can only play and fast forward. There are only 2 speakers, but it still sounds better than many 4-speaker radios. The knobs are metal, and they have a nice, smooth feel with good resistance, unlike many boomboxes whose knobs provide no resistance at all.

The LED meter is big and bright. When you are using the radio, it measures tuning strength and battery level, but you can make it measure VU levels if you want. Just insert a blank tape and press Record. The motor will not run unless you press both Record and Play.
